xp sp2 needed
hi,i hav got xp-sp2 cd but dun hav its serial.can ne1 plz tell me how to find out?or if ne1 has got links to download xp-sp2,plz post it.

Although, CD's using serial are rarely found.. Most of the XP sp2 pirated CD's are 'patched' and u can't run it from inside the windows, by clicking SETUP or so.. Best way is to go to your BIOS menu (at startup), usually, it is opened by pressing 'DEL' or 'F2' just after switching on the power of your PC.. From there, find "Boot device Priority" or something like that.. then, set your fiorst boot device as "CD-ROM" Now, put your XP sp2 CD in cd drive, restart PC.. Your PC will boot from CD, when it'll ask "Press any key to boot from CD", do the same.. The setup of xp will start automatically.. at 1 point, u'll be asked abt the hard drive partition, on which u want to install xp.. select your choice and continue.. The setup goes on, and ... YOU WILL NOT NEED THE SERIAL IN BETWEEN Most xpsp2 CD's (pirated 1's) use the above procedure.. P.S. --> If u are not sure that u can do this correctly, contact an expert.. coz, once u start the above procedure, u'll not be able to check this thread.
