Default vista optimizer
hey guys im looking for a good vista optimiser
i bought a new laptop about 3 4 week ago and i starting to get some problem the windows stop corresponding and all my window which i minimise won't come up basiclly it start freezing i scan it for virus with mCaffee and trojan remover i download approximatly 100 to 150 file from rapidshare i scan it before i open it and after i use it i delete it......does any1 have that problem with vista home.?????

Laptops never cope-up with Vista.

You need atleast 2Ghz processor and above 2GB ram to run Vista on your lappie without any problem.

I have the same problem.I suggest you to remove all the unwanted softwares and clear up their registery to run you pc faster.

I had same problem and i removed all the softwares and now my lappie rocks

i want to remover defender for a lon time but it not like xp can you tell me how i can remove that...

Let it be, it doesn't effect when your lappie is running.Only it consumes 8% ram when it is running, i mean when you are running its scan.

Well i haven't tried to remove it yet ... so cant tell.

I can tell u how to get hold of the programs which eat up huge amounts of memory..

Assuming that Task Manager is same in Vista and XP..

Step 1 -->
Open Task Manager by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del. Now go to "View" menu, and choose "Select Columns" From there, Check the "Virtual Memory Size" box..

Step 2 -->
Arrange the items in Task manager according to their VM size.. For this, check the screen shot, U'll have to click exactly on the same point where the blue point is there..



Now, you can get which programs are taking the most of the memory..
Some of these must be System Tasks..
U can note the others, and if they are unusable for u, u can remove them..
